Higher education has come under fire in recent years, and few universities represent the tradition like Harvard does. With the Instagram series #HarvardUnwind, I wanted to remind the world that Harvard students are no different from anyone else their age. Working with Harvard Public Affairs & Communications, I talked to students around campus about anything but what they were working on, if only to give them a much-needed break.

The internet’s most consumable medium is harder to create than it looks. Creating a great list is more than alternating images and sentences. You have to pique interest, maintain it through several well-curated choices, and land with a satisfying stomp.
